	News - The Beaver Island Dock Project

	The perfect opportunity for a picture!


	September: The new Emerald Isle brought the asphalt truck and paving machines right to the dock! The pavement was placed, the steel ramp installed, and the dock is now in full operation. Though we enjoyed watching the project as it went on, we enjoy having the convenience of the new dock even more!

	August: Summer work continues as the new portion of the dock which creates the well for the Emerald Isle has been constructed and filled. Pilings have been set, and the original area of the dock has been shored up and restored to working order. There will be a cedar sided shed on the pier which will contain all electrical and hydraulic equipment for the ramps. (Keep in mind though that the completion date is not until Labor Day.)


	April Images



	April: With summer just around the corner, the dock is really coming together. Here, the Emerald Isle waits for her future slip to be completed. Most of the heavy support pilings for the main dock are in with some of the concrete work set to begin very soon.
